Status of Vitae Wallets (Updated):
Vitae Core Wallet 4.7 (updated: January 2022)
Vitae Qt version 4.7.0 runs on the original blockchain for the token that is supported by the Discord Rainbot and Vitae.co Social Rewards Website. As Vitae.co is involved with a Belgian court case (see https://wearevitae.org/), all related exchanges and developers have dropped support for further development of the original blockchain. The court case is ongoing so the only thing to do is wait for Vitae.co to return.
Nodehub.io is no longer hosting the Masternode and Supernode for Vitae on the original blockchain (Vitae version 4.7.0 or earlier versions) although supernodes function when wallet is fully synchronized. STEX no longer supports this chain due to past forking issues which were not fully resolved by the developers.
Vitae Core Wallet 0.20.1 (March 2022)
Created by the Vitae founder Michael Bradley. His original vision did not end with a social media platform. There are further plans for the token on Rain-chat and Solana based DeFi platforms. Michael and the original developer of the token created a more diverse, secure and stable replacement wallet. It is Mr. Bradley’s hope that Vitae.co will adopt this new wallet and chain in the future.
This wallet requires that a fork of the original Vitae blockchain be used. STEX exchange is currently supporting this chain of Vitae token. Masternode hosting is supported by Nodehub.io. Supernodes are working and no longer need hosting as they are hard-coded into the new wallet.
