I couldn't believe they were saying that by luck, until Real Madrid completely silenced those who doubted them.

That has been what many have been saying concerning about Real Madrid that they are lucky till they won the champions league,  Real Madrid has always have the mindset to win every of their and they work towards that . Before Real Madrid won the champions league  , Real Madrid was look in a way that it was impossible to win against Liverpool. Real Madrid team played wonderful game this season,  they  knew they can win their games.
It's all because of the experience and mentality that Real Madrid is very familiar with in every competition, especially in the UCL. If you can judge Real Madrid's performance this season, they only play waiting, focus on defending and then make a deadly counter-attack.
and those tactics and strategies make Real Madrid look not a scary team this season, but Real Madrid is able to judge the opponent's game that allows him to beat him because of his tactics.
Real Madrid can beat the big teams because he knows what to do, all opponents of Real Madrid will have an attacking ambition to score goals and Real Madrid is strengthening defense and just waiting for the momentum. and for next season maybe they will change their game to be more attacking or something.
