"Real Madrid is just lucky" That's the word I've always heard, from the knock-out stage to the final. Real Madrid was lucky to beat PSG in the last 16, Real Madrid was lucky to beat Chelsea in the quarter-finals, and so on. Lol
I couldn't believe they were saying that by luck, until Real Madrid completely silenced those who doubted them.
I also don't know why people underestimate Real Madrid's amazing success last season. It may not be seen as true that their luck helped them also but this wasn't the thing all about them in the end. They deserved to eliminate every single one of their opponents until achieving the title. They eliminated very big teams consecutively too. I don't think that any team can do this very difficult job only thanks to their luck. Real Madrid fought really hard and particularly their offensive performance helped them do this.
I think people have only glimpsed the progress Real Madrid is making. Therefore, they do not really know how successful Real Madrid won 14 Champions League trophies and was crowned the king of Europe until the end of this season. If they were only talking about luck then that would not be true at all. Real Madrid's achievements are a benchmark for how capable Real Madrid is.
