Look, this is how it is.
Barca was never going to challenge for 2 or 3 seasons since last season. We have our financial problems. Not yet fixed by the way. We have to find a way to hold down our youth without making them too unhappy or too overburdened. Teenagers injured for internationals show how much we've relied on them.
Even a 2nd place finish was beyond expectations.
On the other hand Real are strengthening, big big buys already and more to come.
Let's not hope for too much, but at least make sure Real don't have another easy season because then they again can rest for UCL. Hate that lol.
I also agree because expecting anything too much is going to make the Barcelona fans really sad because they are not in a situation of achieving great things right now, Barcelona is in a rebuilding situation right now. It will be really foolish to hope for too much from Barcelona right now. And I also agree that the second place in La Liga last season was actually beyond expectation and the Barcelona fans should not expect anything more than the second place in the next season as well.
