Next season I hope that we can see an impressive competition between Real Madrid and Barcelona for the La Liga title. Barcelona aren't performing like in the times Koeman was in charge. They have developed their game so much thanks to Xavi and this is a green light to next season hopefully too. Real Madrid had better be aware of this big threat for themselves even if they still become the biggest contender for the title next time too. I've really missed the title race between these teams.
Koeman left a negative impression at Barcelona, under his leadership the team seemed to lack the passion to compete. Let alone being a champion competing for a place in the top four is very difficult. But after Xavi came the team changed slowly and managed to finish in La Liga not what I expected, to be honest. Real Madrid will again find its rivals at the top of the standings.
