Even though his performance was superior in the past at Barcelona, it is true that age is now a barrier and we already know that Dani Alves' performance has decreased quite a bit now.
Retirement may not be long for this player. As for Barcelona, they seem to be starting again with a younger team, apart from maturing their players, this is also good enough for long-term progress.
I have to say that it is clear Dani still provided something they lacked. He is not the best player, but they are lacking so much that they "needed" him. Hopefully, they could get someone better there and younger as well and that would be a much better situation for them, but for the time being, they do not have the luxury to do anything.

This means they will have to spend some money, and when you look at it, they do not have any money because of all the debt as well. So, I do not know what they are going to do, like if they wanted to buy a player there, they won't have enough money, if they do not get anyone, they have a player that should have retired.
He gave something less? for the current season it may be true but if we talk about the previous few seasons especially in the heyday of Barcelona he was one of the most dedicated players there.

The new news is now that he has decided to part with Barcelona for the second time now.
This is the right choice because he already has golden ink in his heyday at Barcelona.
