You can permanently add an ad (heh) to your block list with 4 clicks with uBlock Origin (uBlock Origin icon -> select element picker tool -> click on the ad -> click on "create"). I do this aggressively with any ad which gets through the standard filters, so I probably did it years ago the first time I ever saw them and then simply forgot they exist.
Yeah, that works. I just tried it out and it works for both the horizontal ones that appear on top and and the vertical ones appearing underneath the Bitcoin price graph. But you have to click on one from each group.

I just noticed that blockchair also has a button to turn off all ads, but it only does it for 3 days according to the provided description. You can find it in the top right corner under the sponsored casino ads. I did that on a different browser just to see how it works and it gets the job done as well. However, it's just a temporary fix.
