It's always a bit odd to refer to a specific point in time as Summer or Winter, etc, because that's different in each area of the world. Maybe it's fine for national sports, or news, but for worldwide events you also would need to know where the person saying it is from, which makes things a bit more complicated.
Can't wait for the world cup to start!
Although I never played football neither I have any idea how the weather will affect the players but this will be real challenge in coming world cup.
Of course we are all very excited for the world cup to start. Looking fwd to it anxiously.
