Ripple is a fully centralized currency, so understanding it was the level of development that would happen.
Their main goal would be to bring more money to them and to develop, and therefore buying it as a long-term investment currency.
The only thing that distinguishes their protocol is the low fees, which is an advantage that many cryptos have.
