Barcelona will have to stay quiet at least for two more transfer markets. Yes, I agreed they are not going to get a lot of success if they don't get any players. But I don't think they have any option other than waiting for the situation to get better. They are already in a lot of debt. And still, they are targeting players who will cost 50 or 60 million. I don't think they will eventually be able to get these players. It will be really interesting to see if they are able to have a good result in spite of having this kind of squad.
Maybe it's not enough to pay off their debts. Perhaps De Jong's departure to Man United could help them. But some of the deal rumors haven't happened yet. Barcelona are still holding De Jong back because they think he will be worth more. So that with the money from the sale, it can certainly reduce the debt they have. But there's a de jong alignment that I remember, he was comfortable in Barcelona, so he probably wouldn't go from there.
I think with existing players Xavi is able to make them strong this season. They managed to end the league in second place.
