Although I would rather make long-term investments than short-term ones, each offers has its advantages.
Going with long-term investments will allow you to build up a profit that a short-term investor, even one who cashed out every week or month, couldn't even build up in a year or more. Although short-term investors don't necessary need to plan long-term, they tend to withdraw their money at any small profit

Note: You can’t be a long term investor and invest money needed for your upkeep and expenses on daily basis rather a short term investor you should become. Money invested by long term investors are money they can sacrifice and won’t be demoralised when they lose such money but for short term investors it is not the same case.
