I don't see what this story has to do with cryptocurrencies. The thread creator says he paid with cryptocurrencies in the same way he could have paid with a card or with cash which he says he didn't have at the time.

The sad part of the story is that these children will be hungry again the next day, and there won't always be someone willing to buy food for them, paying with crypto or whatever.

I guess it varies per country, but don't they have Child Services for cases like this?
There should but what do you expect when there are corrupt leaders in power leading the affairs. Embezzlement, theft and money  laundry is the talk of the day in government. You just have no voice saying anything to them otherwise what you see is what you get. It's a mind your business affairs.

It is a pity to read that corrupt governments lead to this.
