I am Disappointed from the Hacker he just swapped all the funds for the ETH i was expecting it to be the BTC
Without even looking into whatever latest hack just happened, I am guessing that ETH is preferable
because it has privacy. Yes, privacy is sometimes used by criminals. Criminals also used cash, gold coins, etc. for thousands of years. It is more important to me that non-criminals need privacy!
Tornado.Cash,
Aztec Protocol,
et al.—all based on zero-knowledge proofs.
Ethereum has strong privacy, which Bitcoin does not. Meanwhile,
Bitcoin is now an NFT, in the opinion of some people who work with exchanges.
It is
something that I should have pointed out before, in reply to those who fear what would happen if Snowden and I were to get the privacy we want in Bitcoin. Is Ethereum in trouble due to strong privacy solutions which, albeit imperfect, are available today for ETH and some tokens? No. So why would Bitcoin have trouble?
The way things are actually going, I think that
strong privacy in Bitcoin is probably inevitable. Well, I hope so. Zero-knowledge proof technologies are now mature. They are being implemented most everywhere else that matters, not only Ethereum. Demand for strong privacy is high, amongst everyone who does not love Chainalysis. Perhaps it may be a trend that needs to grow from the bottom up, until it reaches Bitcoin. Bonus: Mike Hearn’s head will explode.
I have believed for years that zero-knowledge proofs will take over the world.
BTC is going UP / Down is Breaking!! (No we are not that LUCKY) because NASA Says BTC is moving sideways.
I don’t trust any predictions; but if it happens, sideways would be good. Not only for me: It’s
not down, and it usually precedes a lot of
up. Let the market stabilize, as long-term demand absorbs and digests all of the coins that just flooded in from two months of massive dumping.
By the way Saylor have Stone Heart haha and its working for him.
Some people say that I am cold-hearted. I say that I have a heart of gold.
