As far as I know Barcelona is planning on selling some of their rights, can't recall exactly what that was about. I think some rights that entitle the buyer to their merchandise and Tv rights income or something? Anyway, it was said that that should bring about 700 million Euros. With that money, they could easily afford Lewandowksi and if that deal comes into existence, Bayern will also know about it
I guess Lewandowski would be a good fit for Barcelona. Despite being a really typical offender, he also has the quality to hold, defend, and distribute the ball in a very smart and game opening way. That fits Barcelona's style well although they are already quite different from what they are used to be years ago in terms of ball possession.
I still think that Lewandowski would be a bad decision for Barcelona. Not that he is not a great player, he is an unbelievable player, but they need to get some younger players for the future, they are known to be a team that can find players from youth and they did it again, now filled the rest of the field with younger players from other teams and they should be fine.
Unfortunately because of horrible transfers they had for a long time, and maybe some other business reasons, they ended up with so much debt that they shouldn't be getting 35 year old Lewa to play for that position, they should find someone 25 or younger and make them play for 10 years and not need another transfer again soon.
