Usually, if something is not granted, it will cause a bad mirror later in his performance but I think Lewandowski will continue to play as well as he can even though he is still being maintained at this time.
He's also not been that bad during this time so looks probably won't be bad.
I think like this because we have a really good example in the Premier League for this situation. You must be knowing already about the Harry Kane situation. Manchester City were chasing this transfer last summer but Tottenham chairman Levy didn't let Kane go. He was really disappointed after this and this reflected on his performance too much later on. Until Conte came to the team he performed very badly.
So I'm curious about if Lewandowski will have a similar time period if he stays for one more season. I hope he doesn't of course because we all like to watch him playing great.
