Coinbase is one of the worst of evil exchanges.

yup i hate coinbase because of their history and actions.
but guess which exchange i tell starting btc noobs who arent very computer literate and even less cyber security conscious? yup. coinbase. for the simple reason that they are legit from a usa law point of view. it offers yubikey security.
accounts can be transferred to surviving spouse or executor if the account holder dies.
ok thats it, haters may now proceed to list the myriad ways They Suck. fine by me as i might be some that im not aware of yet and ive been with them since 2013.
now if a btc noob is slightly better informed i tell them gemnini.
please dont forget here in the usa (land of the free) we have limited choice in a lot of things.

Millions of people globally hate corrupt governments, blood-sucking big banks, and mass-destructive multinational corporations. And yet they vote for them, obey them, consume from them, support them in every material way—every single day, week, month, and year.
Yourself included.

And you are an active enemy of Bitcoin. Why can Coinbase harm Bitcoin? Because of you. Who gives Coinbase the power to push anti-Bitcoin agendas? You do.
You are not one of those here who say, Yeah, I hate Coinbase, but... I sympathize with that. We all need to make some pragmatic compromises sometimes. It is not impossible that I would hypothetically use Coinbase, in some horrific circumstance that I do not wish to contemplate. It has never happened—and it is entirely justified for me to urge others to avoid Coinbase like the plague.
You are ad hominem viciously attacking people who dare to speak the truth about Coinbase—who say what you know is true, what you admit is true. You are actively defending Coinbase, in the most perverse possible way: “So tf what” if I actively give my material support to something that I know is wrong? I hate you for bringing it up, for speaking out against it.
Just because that death_diaper troll comes in here spouting his nonsense, and loves to condescendingly drone on and on telling bitcoin WO vets "how it is, bro", doesn't mean anyone needs to listen to his drivel. 
On account of the mental age you show with that type of insult, it pains me to explain that the foregoing is not written for you. You fall into the category of “DNFTT”.
Unfortunately, you exemplified by personal illustration the root cause of what is wrong with the world. It is notable.
