I don’t think the problem is transporting the coin so much. If someone is willing to pay 16 BTC up front, I’ll hand deliver the coin myself with a smile and throw in a free beer.

I think the problem is mostly that buyers want to pay 10.5 BTC for these coins and sellers have 0 interest at that price. The other problem is that most of the inquiries I get on the high value coins end up being lame scam attempts. If someone was serious and willing to pay the price, the rest of the issues are easily solvable.

You may be right and I do respect that very few have the breadth and depth of experience in this field as you do.

Nevertheless, I remain persuaded that there are people who would pay substantial sums for these, primarily as a means of gaining exposure to BTC without needing to understand about managing seed words, offline signing devices etc. I know everyone here knows this already long as Mike Caldwell is trusted and they're confident the sticker hasn't been tampered with then taking care of your BTC this way is the same as taking care of any other physical valuable artefact. Handling bitcoin securely may be second nature to many here by now (although I also see evidence on forums that many don't understand it as well as they think they do) and so of course, buying and selling stuff for bitcoin seems perfectly normal. But I suspect that very many people would i) like some - or substantial - exposure without needing to learn to handle it in its 'native form'; ii) don't want to have to trust third parties with custodial wallets.

tl;dr: physical crypto is more than just a nice collectible (as gorgeous as some of them are as collectibles). They are also a fantastic means of self-custodial ownership without the need for expertise. However, these people also, therefore, will be waving dollars around for them, not crypto!
