In case Lewandowski leaves the team I will be wondering about who will be brought to his position at Bayern Munich. There is no proper alternative player for Lewandowski in the team currently. They will need to make a big centre-forward signing. I'm wondering if they are already monitoring anyone. They were planning to sign Erling Haaland in case they lose Lewandowski but they can't anymore. I assume that they would like a strong forward player like Lewandowski. But they are trying to keep Lewandowski for one more season for now.
I Think Serge Gnabry is a fitted candidate, but in terms of the position of the next striker I think Gnabry will fit the bill in terms of the skills and massive goals make there is no other player for now to replace Robert Lewandowski, but in my opinion, I think Lewandowski can not get out of Bayern Munich for the meantime the Bayern Munich is likely increasing his price so other teams would have problem acquiring him because of the unreasonable price for Lewandowski,
I don't think that Serge Gnabry is fitting the centre-forward position of the team. Because he is mainly a right winger and he played like that in nearly all of the games of the team too. It is his most productive position and we can understand that from his statistics in the same season as well. He got 10 goals and 7 assists in 23 games. Mane is also not much different than him as he is mainly a left winger too. I remember that he played a striker for Liverpool in some games and did a wonderful job too. But it would be better to benefit from these players in their natural positions.
As a result Bayern Munich would absolutely need a striker in that case.
It's true that Serge Gnabry is more suited to playing as a winger or an attacking midfielder, to be a striker it looks like Gnabry doesn't have
a good finishing. Although I admit Serge Gnabry also often scores goals for Bayern, but if he play as a striker he will not play optimally.
Instead of Serge Gnabry it is better to put Sadio Mane as a striker if it is true that Lewandowski leaves and Bayern have not found a replacement.
But it would be even better if Bayern bought a new striker to replace Lewandowski, hence the rumors linking Bayern to Ronaldo. Because if it was
