I am a newbie and would like to invest $1000 to start. I have read that I should put 40 percent into bitcoin and diversify the other 60 percent. I need opinions, advice, and anything from those with experience of positive value. 
If I were you, I will take a higher percentage into Bitcoin. I will at least spend 60% or more on Bitcoin. the least will be Ethereum or BNB. Only these two altcoins that I trust more than other altcoins during this bearish market. Actually, investing needs diversification. but, we must also understand in what assets we are putting our money. With that amount, I will not take many coins. I will only put into Bitcoin only or Bitcoin with 1 altcoin. It is enough. Additionally, never think to invest in shit coins although they offer too legit to be true project, like offering hidden gem promotion or others.
