Actually, I saw the news too late. Gabriel Jesus signed with Arsenal. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the transfer on Twitter.
https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1541109478166347778It says there is a 5 year deal. I think he went to a club where he would be happy. Arteta uses a tactic like Pep Guardiola. Gabriel Jesus will have no trouble at Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta is a very talented coach. Last season we saw Arsenal's performance. I would say the comparatively fewer star players were in the Arsenal squad. Yet they were fifth in the points table and 11 points ahead of Manchester United. If Arteta got enough funds he would fight for the title. However, Jesus will become the worthy player for the Arsenal team. Since Jesus has experience playing in the Premier League, he can easily adapt to Arsenal.
Manchester United does not match Arsenal in terms of player performance. Arsenal are much better than Manchester United last season. Arsenal players who are included in Arteta's main squad are the same, there are no big-name players like at Manchester United. But with another London team like Tottenham, I think Spurs are superior.
For me, Arteta has not yet reached the level as a coach with a winning mentality even though he was able to bring together Arsenal's youngsters last season. He should be able to end Arsenal's position in the standings at number 4, considering Tottenham did not improve before Conte took over.
I agree that Gabriel Jesus will be Arteta's mainstay as Arsenal's goal machine next season.
