Dogecoin is dealer than dead. Elon tweets don't move the needle anymore its getting old. If he can't push it forward than what will? Doge is archaic and not needed in the ecosystem. It's just another redundant coin that was copy/paste made in 15 minutes of work. People just bag holding now.
I think you're right. There's no need and no sense keeping such coins further now. I think that best for now is investing in Bitcoin, while it's on the bottom (as it always recovers) and for example I now participate in a weekly Utopia p2p Crypton give-away.
