Juventus have only Bonucci, de Ligt and Rugani as defenders now. Chiellini is leaving to join Los Angeles FC as you must have heard already. I think that Juventus will need to sign at least one defender to keep themselves decent about their defense. de Ligt is also rumoured to leave by the way as Chelsea are highly interested in him. But if Juventus let him go by only his release clause then this transfer may not happen. Because his release clause is worth 120 million euros.
Juventus definitely needs an experienced defender. Juventus' performance last season disappointed me. They were not even in the fight to win the title. As a Juventus fan I definitely want to see the Juventus team in a stronger position next season. For this, we must strengthen the forward and the defense. Since Chiellini has already left Juventus and de Ligt may also leave Juventus, their performance will deteriorate further next season if Juventus do not sign a new defender.
