We didn't get a better performance from Pauli last season due to injury problems. I would say it is their misfortune. Pauli would have been at the top of the table if important players had not been injured. However, strong teams like Schalke and Werder Bremen are not in the second Bundesliga next season. So there is a better chance for Pauli to occupy the top spot on the table.

other teams are now in the 2.bundesliga. i think hamburger sv, hannover,bielefeld,nürnberg,darmstadt and düsseldorf will be big competitors. these teams have brought in some good players. it will also be very very difficult for st.pauli
to finish in one of the top 3 places this year / season . st. pauli will have to show 34 good games and not only 17.
Not to mention that teams like Hamburger, Nurnburg and Bielefeld and Darmstadt are weak. They have a good enough squad. However, their main weakness is that they do not play well regularly. It will be very difficult for Pauli to stay at the top of the table if these teams are consistent. But the problem is that these teams depend on a specific player. And if the player loses form or is injured, the team's performance tends to deteriorate. And that's what I've been seeing for the last few seasons. And so I think Pauli is quite stable compared to these teams.
