Fewer than 1% of people involved in cryptocurrency are women.

Well, it's hard to prove these kinds of stats in a largely anonymous community. But, that is the number that is going around with the exception of China, where I've heard as many as 10% are woman. Nevertheless, in IMHO there are too few.
