You could use @ddmrddmr dashboard to analyse if he changed his merit habits to different ranks over time. There is a tab for that.
So that you can check that hypothesis of yours.

Have used his dashboard to fetch the merit information many times and there are so many ways we can utilise it but we have to explore it little bit and there is lot of information we can avail through it.Like we could see his merit sprees and the accounts he has given making past comparison could tell us the answers.So that you can check that hypothesis of yours.
