do you really think Spence Jr will accept the 40% cut considering that he has more belts than Crawford? it is more on Crawford getting the 40% cut here. anyway, forgetting the purse split, these 2 boxers should fight as early as they can. don't wait 5 years down the road before they finally agreed about purse splits or other things.
Not going to happen. Spence Jr. should at least get the 60% of the purse and not the other way around. If he will just get a 40% cut, he might just move up weight and disregard fighting Crawford where he can earn more.

No announcement until now but surely it will be released this month or next. But let's hope that announcement is not about the fight will be canceled lol.
It will be really unfortunate if this fight is going to be cancelled, they already put a lot of effort to negotiate, even Crawford himself didn't re-sign his contract with Bob Arum of Top Rank so that he can secure this fight because he knows that Arum doesn't want to work with PBC which is Spence promotional company.
Make sense for Spence to ask that 60%, I guess majority of us will agree to that. He is the bigger draw and then the belts that he is holding.
