The world of digital currencies is growing exponentially, with new altcoins being created all the time. While some may be novelty coins with little genuine value, others may have unique features that make them more useful or desirable than traditional fiat currencies.
It’s important to remember that not all altcoins are created equal. Some may be more stable and have greater potential for growth than others. It’s also important to be aware of the risks associated with investing in altcoins – some may be unstable and have low liquidity, meaning they’re difficult to trade.
That said, there are a number of reasons why people may choose to invest in
99% of all the altcoins that have existed are completely unnecessary and we could have do without them and nothing would have changed, but what about the other 1%? I see those altcoins as a sandbox for bitcoin, bitcoin is such a big project now that it would be irresponsible for the developers to add new and untested features to it, however this can be done to altcoins and we can see if those features actually work while being used live by real people, and if those features end up working then the developers can decide to add them to bitcoin in the future, so as you can see a minority of the altcoins have some use while the majority are useless.
