Preev is down over the last 3 days and as other have mentioned, it has something to do with an expired domain. But then you can alternatively use bitmover's tool to get the average bitcoin price in the meantime while waiting for preev.

I don't use preev, but Google's price ticker for BTC is actually just using Coinbase's price internally (same for all cryptocurrencies). And generally the price on each exchange is going to be different depending on the trading volume, so that's why people are clamoring about preev right now, because that's apparently the reference they have agreed among themselves to use.
I would like to know why do people use preev reference price. Why use preev? How is that price even created? is it from binance, coinbase, a mix of many exchanges?
Coinmarketcap price is way more transparent and much better IMO.
