It looks like Ja Morant went overboard with his statement, hehehe

Ja Morant says he'd beat Michael Jordan in his era

Well I guess who have been following basketball for years and see Michael Jordan plays will not agree with Morant here.

He needs to get a ring, not just 1 or 2 or 3, he need to get 7, be a two way player, MVP's and beat everyone in his generation. So far he has none of that.
I won't overreact on this as an MJ fan. It's a compliment to Jordan, that's how I define what he said. Every player wants to play with MJ and showcase their skills in front of him. Iverson did, Kobe did, and more. Even Magic plead for his comeback because that's how amazing he is as an opponent.

And like Chris Broussard, "I love the mentality." It's not being disrespectful but I think he is trying to make a point that he will be a better player.
What matter now is if Ja could prove what he said, he achieved being an All-Star but the road is still long for him to accomplish greater heights.

No offense to him, but things will not be happening. It's just a wild dream that every player wanted to happen. More on hyping his name

in terms of publicities, but in terms of realization, it's next to impossible to happen. I'm also an avid fan of MJ and I watch him play the kind

of being a competitor and a leader is incomparable to every young generation of stars that played after him. Though for sure there's a bias

In my opinion, I respect every rising star and those who follow his steps, but with Ja's statement, it's easier to say than to prove it with

converted achievements,.
