I believe that it is fair. But CONMEBOL got a very unfair deal. They are the strongest confederation out there and for them, the increase is just +1.5. For the 2026 World Cup, there will be 6 teams from CONMEBOL. I would have liked at least 7 teams from that confederation. Everytime, a number of strong teams from South America miss out on qualification.
