As it was expected it turns out that Cristiano Ronaldo has rejected the extraordinary offer by a Saudi Arabia team. He proved his point that it wasn't about money. He wants a challenge in the Champions League and Manchester United can't give it to him at least for this season. He doesn't want to stay any longer as a result. I wonder if there are any Premier League team interested in him now. The freshest rumour is about Atletico Madrid's wanting him.
I am not surprised Cristiano Ronaldo refused from Saudi Arabia, because indeed he still wants to play in the League where the League is the favorite for now. But I myself am not sure that he will soon find the team he is referring to, in the end we will still see him at Manchester United. I hope he is more patient and keeps playing for Manchester United. I would like to see him contribute to the rise of Manchester United.
