Until now there is no clarity from Cristiano Ronaldo's side with which team he is close to. Only a few rumors mentioned and even then confirmed actually not like what was rumored, ranging from Chelsea to Bayern Munich.
And for now I have not seen the latest news from the Portugal captain. Surely all parties are waiting for confirmation from Ronaldo what decision he will take.

but Ronaldo himself had not attended pre-season training with Manchester United for two weeks, and even Manchester United held a pre-season tour to Thailand and Australia without Ronaldo. Even so, in the two pre-season games, Manchester United were still able to win even without Ronaldo's presence.
but I'm sure if Ronaldo stays at Manchester United it will be much better and will compete with the top teams in the EPL under Erik ten Hag's tutelage.
