We try to provide the more secure way to get a paper wallet. As stated, this is indeed a fork of bitaddress.org. You can check Github to see what we really did.

I've seen a fair number of wallet generator, including some obviously non-secure. I think providing a unique implementation for all the currencies is more auditable than a myriad of custom version. Now that's your call
