He does have few subscribers, he must have been starting to collect some. If its OP like users are suspecting, just buy subscribers. There are many providers of this kind of services.
I guess he wanted to increase the watch time of his YouTube channel. As the video whose link he has shared in OP has become his most viewed if we check on social blade.
