If we will follow the 4-year cycle, in 2018 Bitcoin is making a lower lows until it reaches as low as $3000 at the end of the year before it went up in 2019 and we know what happened afterwards.
I believe in cycles and I also believe that what happened in 2018 will happen again this year 2022. Bitcoin might have some recoveries (like what is happening right now) but it will just create a lower low until it reaches the possible bottom and in the next year, it will start to recover. So to answer your question, I don't see Bitcoin rising up this year but there is a higher chance that it will happen next year than this year.
But I just hope it increases, that’s why I’ve been advising so many people to hold their Bitcoins and even buy more now cause it will surely rise again.
Well if you will look at the historical chart of Bitcoin from it was created in 2008 until now, it has only one movement and it's upwards. Advising people to hold their Bitcoins is good and I also advise them to do it but I'm always adding it with "Just be ready whenever it wasn't going your way because Bitcoin is volatile and there might be times where you will incur losses just by holding. Just don't panic and hold".
