Wow you played 18 hours per day before, that's a long time I guess, but I've never been that long in gambling but now you've changed that pattern.
Watching streaming gambling also actually entertains me. Previously, I watched this for hours but in the end I became curious and played again, maybe because it was not controlled so that curiosity continued to exist.

there's something about dopamine addiction/neurotransmitters that makes it really hard to stop playing/gambling for some people
in some situations it starts a domino effect, a cascade that is really hard to get rid of.
What happens is that the brain is capable of releasing a great deal of the substances which some people consume as illegal drugs, meaning that a person doesn't really need to consume those substances in order to get them into their body, this is how behavioral addictions come to happen and how something like gambling can become addictive.

And playing 18 hours per day is simply not healthy, if we take into account that the day only has 24 hours and that you need to sleep then that means that someone playing for that long is not doing anything else but that, making their addiction incredibly dangerous for themselves.
