Like BIT-BENDER mentioned above me, it depends as we have the situation of accounts changing hands. Users can still prove their ownership of the account within those scenarios via signing message with their staked Bitcoin address in this thread:

Most of his posted addresses are ETH unless if he can prove that he owns this address: 0x0B4B0867f86a16002Fe5a4Db770B3EE35FAfD86A
