They're pretty general tips, really helpful for starter players but old timers wouldn't really need to think about it anymore, they're pretty much doing most, if not all of these rather instinctively. I'd honestly just say that enjoy the process and bet on games that you love to watch. The process shouldn't be find a game to bet on then love it, but rather find a game you love and THEN bet on it. It's much quicker to adapt and you pretty much know the game and the basics about it already.
