In India, there is a saying. Get woke, go broke. This is exactly what happened to him. Everything was going well until his marriage with that Bollywood actress. After marriage, he got addicted to woke culture and started advising Indians against celebrating their festivals and doing BS such as Black Lives Movement. Hardik had the same issue. But he realized it before it was too late and the results are out there for everyone to see. Virat needs to make a choice now. Either he needs to focus on cricket, or he needs to retire and take up a role with Bollywood. You cannot stand on 2 boats together for a long time.
I don't think Bollywood will accept him as retired cricketer, they only need cricketers that are playing in squad. Kohli has been given so many chances and he wasted everyone of it. BCCI has made a good choice of dropping him from squad, he must go and regain form in domestic cricket.
Kohli needs rest. And since he has been out of form for almost 3 years, Kohli should now perform in the domestic leagues. Or hope to return to form by performing against relatively weaker teams. Kohli is a talented and classy batsman no doubt about it. He is out of form probably due to mental problems. So personally I think he needs rest.
