Create new directory:
Windows - C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\GavecoinCore
Linux / MAC - ~/.gavecoincore
Launch the wallet and let it complete the sync.
Encrypt wallet (Settings > Encrypt wallet)
Create a new pickup address
dumpprivkey "address" (address is the receiving address you sent the 1 million GVC to)
Backup wallet.dat (File > Wallet Backup). Store in multiple locations.
Dump the private key to get the address (it should be printed and kept offline in several places):
The private key only allows you to restore the matching receiving address. If you setup multiple nodes you should dump the private key for each collateral receiving address.
Send 1 million GVC to self (this is current collateral amount)
Wait for 2 confirmations
