How can a newbie invest in good altcoins? I know about BTC and ETH but I think I can make more money from altcoins instead of BTC and ETH, I did my research and I have a few projects in mind but I don't know if they are worthy..

Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero to name a few

If you are a real newbie, I would recommend you to still put most of your money on Bitcoin, don't rush on the profit. Learn every details of the project you want to invest in before put any money on it, for reference you can look at the altcoin rank on some site like coinmarketcap or coingecko, this rank means liquidity and better liquidity generally mean safer investment, but don't just relying on this rank, always do your own research.

About your list, I personally like the Avalanche project, but I don't want to give you any advice on your investment. DYOR

Sometimes rushing to take a huge profit can only lead us to losses. If you're a beginner, stick with strong coins with a firm foundation. Bitcoin and Ethereum are worth investing in and are a good choice as you start. You need to know the risks of crypto investing first so you better risk your funds in coins that are well established. Don't risk your funds in altcoins that are still weak and can't resist the bear season.
I agree what is mentioned above - do your research on crypto investing first - know what are pros and cons of the market and also check the forums and discussion.
Take help from the experts and do it in authentic crypto like Ethereum and Bitcoin.
