Benjamin Pavard is a really great player in terms of being able to play in various positions in defense. He is mainly a right-back of course but can be used as a centre-back as the second option too. He can even play in the left back position when he is needed. Now he seems eager to join Chelsea as well. As Chelsea might lose Azpilicueta they can sign Pavard to fill the place. Maybe this can even help them drop their search of a centre-back as well because as I said Pavard can play there too.
He is indeed a versatile player, based on the data I got from FotMob, he can play in 3 positions (Center-Back, Right-Back and Right-Midfielder), of course this is very suitable for Chelsea after they lost Jules Kunde off their radar.
