Ronaldo should remain in Manchester United regardless of their absence in the UEFA Champions league. He is no longer in the top class like he used to be and he is getting old. He needs a club like Manchester United where he would be respected and given the right treatment he deserves. He should not forget the hostile treatment he received from Juventus when the club failed to make it to the Champions league finals. With a new coach and their new signings Man U might make it to the Champions league next season.
How can you say he isn't a top star again, both on and off the field most so called top players can deliver what Ronaldo does at his age. Manchester united are the cause of Ronaldo still not finding a club by now. They should make it obvious that he isn't a part of the club so other clubs can come get him. Them saying he's still in the plans for the next season, is making other teams stay away since there would probably be a high fee in signing him.
At this current stage of Ronaldo career, he doesn't fit to be in a club like Manchester united that aren't serious. He should be in teams with the capable players to win games so he can easily lift more trophy and set more individual records at the same time helping the team achieve greatness, he can't achieve that at Manchester United.
