silly question, but how to do go about using that for this purpose.

So when you put your seed into that tool (do it with an offline saved copy, and then INTERMEDIATELY transfer those coins to  a secure wallet) you will get what you need to fill THIS out:



Fill it out, and like I said parenthetically , move those coins to a secure wallet.  Once you have performed this sort of action your wallet is not really secure anymore.
