It certainly is, the house will always win in the long run. And those that are looking for the quickest way to win, understand that as well but having that mindset will make them chase at most times and the end result might not that be good.
It could lead them to a particular thought that instead of getting the fastest profit, the opposite outcome will come and they'll be in a situation that they don't like that they have to chase their losses.
It's a gamble that adds pressure. If you want to have quick resulted, you also need to be ready with the opposite outcome.

Most gamblers understand that house edge is the killer, so they are in the quest to limit that edge and take the earnings as quick
as possible though it's not easy to accomplish since the result is unknown and most of the times the adrenaline inside changes the
directions of the gambler's plan.
The house is always there for business and that's what you can expect from them. You can't really see them go too easy on their players and that's how their business works.
They profit and someone has to lose and that's us. That little house edge they've set is a lot for them when it's all about the quantity of players sum to it the loyal ones too.
