Simply because her name sounds feminine to me. I don't care. If she wants me to refer to her as a man, let her tell me. What I'm not going to do is to change gender every now and then because she considers herself gender fluid.
On the internet, if your name sounds male to me, I refer to you as "him", if it sounds female to me as "her, unless you tell me you prefer me to refer to you with the other.
