Manchester United did no doubt play poorly in their first match with Brighton in the premier league and lost the game as a result. Personally I think it’s still very early to judge the clubs performance based solely on the first match. Obviously, there’s still some work to be done in the club aside tactics and strategies before the club can come back to its former glory. They may have underestimated their opponents and got beaten in their home stadium. Hopefully, Manchester United would make a come around this season and for now, it’s still too early to tell.
Bad official match for Ten Hag. I originally guessed Man United would win. But looking at their play and their goal conceded two goals first. I became pessimistic they won. Their goal was obtained from suicide. Indeed, if you look at the second half Ronaldo entered their game improved a bit.  In addition there are some chances that should be goals. But their finishing was poor.
In the pre-season when Manchester United won, many said that Erik ten Hag would bring back the glory days of Manchester United but some said it was too early to judge. But after entering the official Premier League match and then losing, they said again it was too early to judge. I'm just curious, if Manchester United's performance under Erik ten Hag doesn't improve from week to week, will they still say Erik ten Hag still needs time. This is something that is uncertain and Manchester United will still be difficult to bounce back, as there are some players in their squad that even their own fans don't like. This is proof that there is a lot to be done in the team. Also, Manchester United must have a coach who is used to the culture of the Premier League, because Erik ten Hag is new here and it will still make it difficult for Manchester United to bounce back quickly.
