It is neither unfair nor disrespectful if the GSW board decides to let go of Draymond. He may be an important piece to their multiple titles but he is still not a franchise player or someone to build around. He couldn't do much when Steph and Klay were still out in the past three seasons so that max contract he's asking is too much for a player his caliber. The best GSW could do is to retire his number once his service to the team is over.
