This is Iran first import order of worth 10 million USD using cryptocurrency,  its not specified which cryptocurrency was used.
USA has placed a total economic embargo on Iran and if this import order works then Iran can do trading  bypassing USD dominated economic system. Likewise countries like Russia may also join trading in cryptocurrency.

"By the end of September, the use of cryptocurrencies and smart contracts will be widely used in foreign trade with target countries," an official from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade said on Twitter.

This is a positive development, let's see how far it goes.
