the desire is sometimes not in line with the actions taken. The intention to stop gambling by doing a job you like and doing positive activities will be in vain if there is no real action. It is indeed difficult to remove the gambling system that has stuck in the mind, because it becomes a habit every day. But it is not something that is impossible to eliminate. need rehabilitation to overcome gambling addiction that has ruined his life. There must be support from the surrounding environment.
what you say, is a real case that often happens to anyone who wants to get out of his addiction. Honestly, I've experienced it. however, if someone just wants to quit without doing anything real I think it's just pointless. as you said, I completely agree.
IMO, it's impossible to really quit unless you don't have money to gamble with, the problem is how one views gambling. I think moving from one place to another is not the right solution if it is not accompanied by intention.
in my experience, there is no need to change places, or try to rehabilitate yourself, just train yourself with full awareness to change and don't forget to change the perspective of gambling itself. and it worked for me, however i still do gambling just part of the fun with limited amount and even then it is done only when i have time off after work activities.
